Our story

1955
Birth of a Legend
Siete Leguas was officially registered on August 15, 1955 , and founded by Don Jorge .
It started by offering charro boots and, shortly after, expanded its catalog with the classic cowboy boot , which would eventually become its distinctive mark.

1960
From Mexico to the world
In the mid-1960s, the factory, owned by the founding family, began exporting abroad. This spurred a substantial improvement in the quality of its products and solidified Siete Leguas ' commitment to artisanal excellence.

1970
The old continent discovers them.
In the early 1970s, Siete Leguas set its sights on Europe, bringing Mexican craftsmanship to new horizons. From France to the Netherlands, Germany, Sweden, and Italy, our boots walked proudly across borders.
A decade later, in 1980, that journey of export and tradition was recognized in Malta with the prestigious Phoenicia International Trade Trophy—a milestone that marked our global legacy.

A brand with international weight.
In the early 1980s, Siete Leguas established a partnership with the brand Adam's Boots by Siete Leguas , which boosted its international presence.
For over 15 years, its products have been marketed worldwide: Europe, Japan, Hong Kong, the United States, and Canada .

At the same time, in the early 1980s, the brand gained great strength in Mexico thanks to a successful advertising campaign starring the bullfighter and charro Mariano Ramos , with a presence on national television, magazines, and billboards throughout the country.

1990
Siete Leguas in Formula 1 and other sports
In the 1990s, Siete Leguas made its mark in motorsports by sponsoring the El Charro team car during the Mexican Formula 1 Grand Prix.
The brand also supported a variety of sports, from charrería and cycling to powerboat racing and Formula 3, showcasing its spirit of tradition, strength, and competition across disciplines.

The first digital steps
In 2018, under the direction of the third generation, Siete Leguas takes its first steps in digital commerce by starting to sell its products through Mercado Libre .

2019
An online store with a heart.
In 2019, Siete Leguas launched its first online store: sieteleguas.mx . This launch marked a crucial moment for the brand, as sieteleguas.mx maintained its presence and sales nationwide during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The solid reputation and recognition in online commerce opened the doors of Amazon USA for them.

A presence that leaves its mark.
